3 * The Command of the Attributes *
* We have presented the arguments for conducting the Universe in a systematic way. Now, by the ruling of the Universe, what kind of people are the atheists, is the ruling of these Affiliates like ordinary disbelievers, or more than that?
Then Shaykh-ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyah replied in his fatwa that:
* There is a group of atheists who deny the existence of Allaah, and such atheists are infidels more than the polytheists, ie, the disbelievers are inferior to the polytheists by rank. *
Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
* 7 "The disbelief is that Allah and the Prophet do not believe in Allah whether it is in the form of denial or doubt or doubt, or in the form of jealousy or arrogance or the evil desires of one's own self. On the basis of what one does, one may stray from the path of faith (ie, be a disbeliever), but if anyone denies Allah's existence and becomes a disbeliever, this is the highest level of disbelief.

That is because they disbelieved in Allah, the One who gave them existence and blinded them, while they were deaf. They are the fuel of the infidels in the Qur'an. He states:
📖ulqd zrana ljهnm multi mankind from ualans lهm yfqهun precious hearts ulهm A`yan La La La ysmaun call ulهm ybsrun precious precious aulyك كalanaam bill we Azal aulyك we algaflun (A'raaf: 179)
* And the jinn and men whom We have created for Hell have hearts that they do not understand, and eyes that do not see them, and ears that do not hear from them; they are like cattle. Rather, they are more in error than they are.
